ANTHONY NOLAN Anthony Nolan is a partner of Kennedy Associates Architects, an architectural and urban DIRECTOR design practice based in Annandale, , specialising in urban design and community, public, residential and environmental architecture.

Anthony has over 20 years experience in the design, documentation and contract administration of a wide range of projects and is an acknowledged industry leader in the integration of sustainability and architecture, with a particular focus on the provision of social, affordable and accessible housing.

Kennedy Associates Architects, employs 15 people, has worked on over 500 projects ranging in value up $100m, is currently working on projects in both and Asia and has a client base that includes, government agencies, local councils, religious organisations, community organisations, and private developers.

Anthony’s work has received numerous industry awards including the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects Sir Medal, the highest award for architecture in NSW, for the Bowden Centre and the Australian Steel Institute’s National Steel Excellence Award for the AGL Lakeside Pavilion.

Anthony has been extensively involved in advocacy. He was chair of the Australian Institute of Architects National Sustainability Committee, co-chair of the NSW Sustainability Committee and has contributed to a wide range of AIA submissions and publications, has taught at several universities and is a regular presenter of papers at conferences and forums
