To make colleges’ use of analytics clearer, this report uses findings from the survey and interviews with campus leaders and other experts. Commissioned by The Chronicle of Higher Ed- ucation with support from Jenzabar, the survey was conducted by Maguire As- sociates in March 2020. The research comprises results from 589 institutions; 87 percent are four-year insti- tutions and the rest two- year or less than two-year. Not all questions were an- swered by all respondents.
