Champion High School Daily Announcements and Weekly Bulletins

Champion High School “Daily Announcements and Weekly Bulletins” will now be posted on our CHS website under “Charger News & Information”.

The Daily Announcements are made every day over our PA system for our students, but we also wanted to give you the opportunity to know what events we have coming up.

Attention CHS Students… Come join us every Wednesday at WES!

WES offers a wonderful atmosphere to study and do homework

WHEN: September 11, 18 & 25 2019 WHERE: Cafeteria or Library TIME: 4:05 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Students may also make up tests/quizzes in the Library. Bring a friend and benefit from on-site teacher tutorials in a coffee-house setting! See you Wednesday! Snacks are sold on-site See attached flyer

Off-Campus Stickers Senior Release. Work Release. Off Campus PE. Senior Off Campus Lunch

Starting August 22nd, students with any of these items will need the appropriate sticker on their student ID. Please see Mrs. Pfeifer in the assistant principal’s office if you are missing a sticker.

Student Health Advisory Council

Attention Students! Are you wanting to collect Community Service Hours? If so, we are looking for student volunteers to be on the Student Health Advisory Council.

The first meeting will be at Central Office on Monday, October 7th at 4:40 p.m. Contact Nurse Moreno for more information.

COUNSELORS CORNER:

Dual Credit Drop Information

The Dual Credit drop window will be open from September 3rd to September 8th. There will be a form located in the counseling office that students need to complete and turn into their counselor. STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PARENT SIGNATURE TO DROP.

Starting September 9th, students who drop a Dual Credit course will have to do so through their teacher and will receive a ‘W’ on their official COLLEGE Transcript.

PSAT Information

If you would like your junior to take this test, they must pick up a registration form from the Counseling office or online at: https://www.boerneisd.net/domain/2440.

The registration form and a fee of $17.00 must be returned to the counseling office by Friday, September 13, 2019.

We ask that you please send the exact dollar amount or make your check payable to Champion High School.

For those that have already registered, the PSAT Study guides are in so please stop by the counseling office and pick yours up as soon as possible so you may begin to study.

First Semester AP or PRE-AP Drop Request Form

As we end the 3rd week of school, students can now Drop their AP or Pre-AP class starting on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

The forms are in the Counseling Office and are due back to their counselor by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019. The form must have the teacher initial and signature.
