8 PLAYERS PROGRESSED THROUGHOUT SEASON The 2016 Chadron State College volleyball team took some lumps along the way, but for first-year head coach Riann Mullis, there was a marked progression at key positions, from the beginning of the season Volleyball Honors to the end, which was one of the goals headed into the season. All-RMAC Second Team Mullis arrived on campus in April of 2016 to find a talented core of Rudy Leasau returning players, yet several of those had only just finished their first season in college volleyball. The cross country team saw its first-ever national Cross Country Results championships qualifier in Alejandro Garcia. Sept. 2 - CSC at South Dakota School of Mines The senior from Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, went to the national Women’s Score: 63 (3rd) meet in Saint Leo, Florida, after placing 21st at the NCAA Men’s Score: 35 (1st) South Central Region meet in Denver.
