I. NOTE DU SECRÉTAIRE GÉNÉRAL.

Conformément à l’alinéa 8 de l’article 10 de la Convention internationale pour la simplification des formalités douanières du 3 novembre 1923, « les États contractants se communiqueront directement, à bref délai, et communiqueront également au Secrétariat de la Société des Nations, la liste des autorités reconnues compétentes pour délivrer les cartes de légitimation » ; Conformément au paragraphe 2 de l’article 11 de la même Convention, « chaque E tat contractant communiquera, aussitôt que possible, au Secrétariat de la Société des Nations, la liste des organismes qu’il aura habilités pour la délivrance des certificats d’origine... » Le Secrétaire général a l’honneur de transmettre aux États les listes qui lui ont été communi­ quées par les gouvernements en application des dispositions des deux articles susmentionnés.

I. NOTE BY THE SECRETARY-GENERAL.

Under paragraph 8 of Article 10 of the International Convention relating to the Simplification of Customs Formalities of November 3rd, 1923, “ the Contracting States shall, as soon as possible, communicate direct to each other, and also to the Secretariat of the League of Nations, a list of the authorities recognised as competent to issue identity cards.” _ o , n Under paragraph 2 of Article 11 of the same Convention, “ each Contracting State shall communicate as soon as possible to the Secretariat of the League of Nations a list of organisations which it has designated for the purpose of delivering certificates of origin . . • ” The Secretary-General has the honour to forward to the States the lists which have been communicated to "him by Governments in application of the provisions of the two articles quoted above.
