Location: The Engineer’s Club, a private members club in the center of Baltimore.

Key Highlights:  25 high-net worth members of the Engineering Society attended the event.  I led a tutored tasting, taking the group through the 10 Y.O., La Santa, Nectar D’or, Quinta Ruban & 18 Y.O.  Ealanta was pre sold to guests.  Several individuals in the audience were loyal drinkers of other competitive brands, and were happy to discover Glenmorangie, and have added a bottle or two to their collections.

MD NYE 2012 Recap Overall Objective: To have MHUSA “own” NYE in several accounts across the state, and to increase the visibility of our brands key accounts.

Execution:  26 accounts within the PM account list showcased at least one MHUSA product for NYE; ranging from toasts, to cocktail features and wine pairings.  We conducted robust discussions with our customers about how best to partner with them for NYE.  We wanted to ensure that the end consumer who was celebrating out in a restaurant or bar had a stellar and memorable New Years Eve with Moët Hennessy front of mind as they rang in the New Year.  Several accounts used one of our bubbles ranging from Chandon to Moet et Chandon to Veuve for the NYE toasts.

Successes:  The Four Seasons Baltimore paired wines and sparkling with dinner, and offered Moet Brut Imperial for the New Years toast, as well as Ruinart by the glass.  9 accounts chose to feature Chandon for the toast as well as by the flute, over a lesser alternative such as cava or Andre.  Some key wins with some of our top bubble brands are outlined below.

Located off of Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, Del Frisco’s boats a 3-story wine cellar, heated outdoor patio and 40 foot chandeliers.

High-end Business people, Magnificent Mile Shoppers and Gold Coast residents are embracing Chicago’s newest steakhouse.

Staff training was conducted with over 40 key wait staff that focused on Hennessy as the #1 product of choice for their customer base. Staff was also educated on the higher marquees to recommend as an after dinner drink.

Zachary Browning, CSW Chicago Trade Appreciation Dinner and Training with Hennessy On January 28th, the Portfolio Manager Team of Chicago combined efforts with Moet Hennessy to create the ultimate dinner experience for Key Trade and SWS sales.

Lamon and Durell, along with Deirdre, Steve, and Michael hosted 30 top retailers at Del Frisco’s restaurant.

A new placement of Hennessy Richard had been added to menu by Zach Browning.

Cyrille Gaultier conducted a training before dinner with an emphasis on XO, Paradis, and Richard.

Everyone is excited to not only bring in new placements of higher marques, but also sell through current inventory after this wonderful evening! Lamon Woods and Durell James, Chicago The MID adds Paradis and Krug Rose The MID continues to be a premier nightclub in Chicago. As they grow and see the profits that Moet Hennessy brands generate, they are adding new Presige Marques.

In January, they added Hennessy Paradis and Krug Rose to menu. (currently in print) They also brought in a new bottle of XO. Staff hand-sold 2 glasses of Paradis at $100 each and 2 bottles of Krug Rose.

A staff training was held on January 28th, before an Ultimate Night activation to kick off the new items. Staff not only learned about Paradis, but experienced the fun Hennessy brings too. (pictures to the right)

The Owner and Manager are so excited about new prestige marques that we are organizing a Prestige Spirits and Champagne training on March 1st for 40 high net worth regulars.
