CLiMBinG teAM Despite only being three years in existence, current team leaders have built the squad from a few interested undergraduates with previous experience to a nationally- competitive 44-person program … led Stanford to two national championships in bouldering and numerous local and regional championships … leadership extends beyond athletic achievement, with the program organizing quarterly-themed practices, potlucks and regular outdoor climbing adventures … emphasis placed on fostering a thriving, supportive and inviting community … regularly hosts private clinics and events, including cross-training workouts for various varsity and non-varsity teams, sessions with local families and events for organizations like Cardinal Nights and New Student Orientation (NSO).
