A Message from Your NFIB State Director in Mississippi Out of control government regulations, mandates, taxes, and spending put the future of small businesses at risk. Elected officials directly impact your bottom-line so that is why it is so important to have pro-small business friends in Jackson. We know that good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates and for the past 8 years, our top elected officials and key legislators in the state have worked closely with NFIB. Together, we’ve successfully chipped away at unfair taxes and burdensome regulations, held the line on insurance and employment mandates, and maintained and improved a fair and balanced civil liability law for you and your business. On November 5th, we need to protect and elect those who understand what it takes for your small business to survive, grow, and create more jobs. NFIB hopes you’ll use this Voter Guide as a valuable tool during the election. It contains a list of state candidates endorsed by NFIB Mississippi PAC. These candidates were evaluated based on their voting records and/or positions on key small business issues. In addition, it also provides key election information, so you know when, where, and how to vote. It is as important as ever to re-elect proven pro-small business incumbents as well as new candidates who support our small business agenda. Please encourage your family, friends, and fellow business owners to be Small Business Be a Voters too! Together, we can be sure the voice of small business is heard in November. #smallbizvoter MISSISSIPPI ELECTION DAY MISSISSIPPI NOVEMBER 5 NOVEMBER 5 NOVEMBER Ron Aldridge State Director NFIB 53 Century Blvd., Suite 250 Nashville, TN 37214 2019 Endorsed Candidates Mississippi State Senate District 2 David Parker District 32 Sampson Jackson District 3 Kathy L.
