Keynote Speaker - Steve Bollar Steve Bollar has more than 23 years experience in the school system from teacher to principal to superintendent. He has experienced first-hand how important a good and healthy school culture is for students and staff alike. Steve Bollar is also the author of the well-praised book “Ideas, Ideas, Ideas!” which has helped schools and organizations improve their culture. Steve is a member of the Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame. In 2014, he was awarded the Burlington County Principals and Supervisors Association Visionary Leadership Award. In 2011, Steve was recognized by South Jersey Magazine as South Jersey’s top 20 Men of the Year.

She is currently the Director of Special Student Programs for the Chanute Public Schools in Chanute, KS. She was involved in Student Council in high school and has continued her involvement as a sponsor and coordinates Level 2 for the Kansas Association of Student Councils Summer Workshop. Lori loves teaching leadership lessons with music and is always willing to share her ideas with others. She is a self proclaimed Student Council Lifer!

Closing Speaker - Carl Olsen Carl “Energizer” Olson has presented to nearly three-quarters of a million people throughout the United States and Canada. Carl founded “Energizer Olson” in 1993, by drawing from his successful background and experience as an educator, coach, administrator and leadership trainer. He has over 30 years of involvement in leadership education working as a student council advisor, Wisconsin Association of School Councils board member, leadership camp director and presenter at various conferences and workshops. In 2003, he was voted the first ever, National Middle School Advisor of the Year.

The Region 6 VISION (Value, Inspire, Share, Insight, Opportunity, Network) Conference is open to any student, advisor and principal in the United States, Puerto Rico and around the world. The purpose of the conference is to meet and network with other leaders from across the U.S. and around the world, obtain new ideas from informative speakers and workshops and ascertain innovative ideas about service learning.
