NOTICE OF RACE

1 RULES 1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of . 1.2 RRS Appendix T Section C will be in effect.

2 ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 2.1 The regatta and clinic are open to boats of any class with at least 5 boats pre- registered by October 30, 2015. Anticipated classes include , International 505, , 420 (Sunday only), J24, J70 and Sonar. 2.2 Eligible boats may enter on-line at http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/10976 or by completing the CBYRA regatta entry form and returning it, together with the required registration fee, to Hampton Yacht Club (HYC), Attn: Fall Fling RC, 4707 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23669.

3 FEES $45 per boat. $20 for c420 or Radial (One Day Event) Additional $5 for non-USSA members. Additional $10 fee for entries received after October 30, 2015.

4 SCHEDULE Skippers Meeting for Friday’s Clinic is November 6, 2015 at 1000. Regatta on-site registration opens November 7 at 0830. Skippers Meeting for Saturday Fleet Races is November 7 at 10:30. The warning signal for the 1st race on Saturday, November 7 is scheduled for 1200. The warning signal for the 1st race on Sunday, November 8 is scheduled for 1000.

5 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS The sailing instructions will be available after 8:30AM on November 7, 2015 at HYC. Preliminary version of the Sis may be posted on line in advance.

6 VENUE Races will be sailed in the vicinity of the Hampton Flats. Launch facilities are available at Hampton Yacht Club. Please do not park trailers in the HYC parking lot. Smaller trailers may be parked in the grass lot at the south end of the property and larger trailers may be parked in dry storage areas.

7 THE COURSES Windward-Leeward courses with Weather Mark Offset and Gates per the Sailing Instructions.

8 AWARDS Suitable awards will be presented immediately following racing on Sunday.

9 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.

10 SOCIAL There will be an Oyster Roast Saturday night open to all regatta participants and volunteers.
