MSG NETWORK ANNOUNCES 2015-16 TELECAST SCHEDULE

MSG to Telecast 78 Regular Season Knicks Games and All Six Preseason Matchups Starting Wednesday, October 7

Season Opener on MSG Knicks vs. Bucks – Wednesday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m.

New York, NY (September 29, 2015) – MSG Network will telecast 78 games during the New York Knickerbockers' 2015-16 regular season, including the Knicks' season opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, October 28 at 8:00 p.m. The schedule also includes all six of the Knicks' preseason games starting Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. when New York faces the Bauru (Brazil) at Madison Square Garden. A complete schedule is included below.

The revamped Knicks lineup, led by Carmelo Anthony, includes first round picks Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant, along with new free agent signings Robin Lopez and Arron Afflalo amongst others. Following the regular season opener on October 28, the Knicks will face some of the biggest superstars in the NBA in the first month alone, including John Wall, Tim Duncan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Anthony Davis, and Dwyane Wade. MSG will also carry the Knicks' full six-game preseason schedule.

Mike Breen, the league's preeminent play-by-play announcer, will return courtside with long-time partner, Knicks analyst and NBA Hall of Famer Walt "Clyde" Frazier. Al Trautwig will serve as host of Knicks telecasts for home games and Bill Pidto will handle host responsibilities for road games. Knicks telecasts on MSG will also include sideline and feature reporter Rebecca Haarlow, features reporter Jill Martin, with Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak returning as Knicks studio analysts.

Knicks game telecasts on MSG will be preceded by the 30-minute pregame show "Visa Knicks Game Night" and followed by the "Ford Knicks Postgame Show" and "Geico Knicks Extra." All game telecasts will also include the "Delta Halftime Report."
