Getting to Wimbledon from Stansted Airport
Stansted airport is outside London to the North East and is one of the furthest from Wimbledon
By Train
The Stansted Express is a fast and convenient way to and from Stansted Airport. The station is just underneath the main terminal and trains depart every 15 minutes, with an average journey time of approximately 50 minutes. The price of a single ticket to Liverpool Street is £19.40.
The train takes you to Liverpool Street Station. From there take the Underground Circle Line to Monument Station (towards Edgware Road), change to the District Line south-bound(same platform) and wait for a train to Wimbledon. Make sure you get a Wimbledon train (it should say Wimbledon on the front of the train) and get off at Wimbledon station, the last stop (the journey time is approximately 50 minutes) Single fare with an Oystercard £2.80 off-peak (Saturday/Sunday/Bank Holidays)
From Wimbledon station we advise you to take a taxi to your homestay, it should cost between £5 and £15.
By Coach
The airport coach station is located just underneath the main terminal. The A6 National Express to London Victoria (Central London) connects Stansted Airport with London Victoria Coach Station. It operates up to every 15 minutes - 12 am to 11 pm. The cost of a single ticket is from £14.

From Victoria Coach station walk ten minutes to Victoria underground station. Then take the Underground District Line south-bound to Wimbledon.
