On Jan. 31, The Jon Jay FMSbonds Celebrity Bowling Challenge, Featuring Jay & Other MLB Players, Raised More than $50,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of -Dade

Jay, St. Louis Cardinals Outfielder, Champion and Miami Native, Hosted Event at Splitsville Lanes

What/Who: Jon Jay, St. Louis Cardinals outfielder, Miami native and Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade alumnus, hosted The Jon Jay FMSbonds Celebrity Bowling Challenge at Splitsville Lanes on January 31, 2015. More than $50,000 was raised and the proceeds benefitted Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade to support its many positive programs for thousands of area youth.

Along with other stars, Olivier Vernon of the Miami Dolphins and BRAVO’s Andy Cohen of “Watch What Happens Live,” Jay bowled with attendees during the fun-filled fundraising event. The evening included red carpet arrivals, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, exciting bowling matches and more.

“We’re grateful that for the third consecutive year, Jon Jay is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade for this wonderful community event,” said Alex Rodriguez-Roig, president of Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade. “With the efforts of individuals such as Jon, we continue to make a difference in the lives of many area youth.”
