BCS #1 vs. BCS #2 ABC Head Coach Rickey Bustle… Louisiana head coach Rickey Bustle has guided the Cajuns for seven seasons and enters his eighth year in 2009. Louisiana has now six games and been bowl-eligible in three of the last four seasons. The last time that happened at UL was 1993-95, when the Cajuns won at least six games for three consecutive seasons. Coach Bustle won 23 games in his first five seasons with the Cajuns from 2002-06, including 11 of the last 17 games. UL won only nine games in the five seasons prior to Bustle’s arrival from 1997-2001. Bustle saw his winning percentage increase each of the first four seasons since taking the job in 2002, but regressed to .500 in 2006. His 6-6 record in 2006 was only deemed a regression because of the high standards and raised levels of expectations by the Cajuns and their fans. In fact, Bustle’s 12 wins from 2005-06 were the most in a two-year period since 1994-95. Louisiana went 4-1 at home in 2008, marking the sixth season under Bustle that the Cajuns have been .500 or better at home.

Sitting atop a CBS tower, he made the call on the most electric shot in Masters history, a sidewinding 2005 "flash my Nike" chip-in by Tiger Woods at the 16th hole, triggering the extraordinary golfer's fourth championship at Augusta National. But "Oh my goodness!" does Verne get shortchanged. His body of at-the-mike work should put the 66-year-old Texan's name alongside Al Michaels, Bob Costas, Joe Buck, Dick Enberg, Jon Miller and Jim Nance if we're talking today's play- by-play wizards. That's the Lundquist catch phrase. "Oh my goodness!" is bellowed at moments of exotic athletic performance, much as Enberg will go to "Oh my!" and the late baseball announcer Harry Caray often used "Holy cow!"
