GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway SOUTH BOX LOUTH 3`. Complete with interior reservoir and 1 burner. Tastefully restored.

A pair of Class 508 Worksplates, both oval cast iron. BR York Lot No 30942 1979 (64657 on rear) and BR York Lot No 30948 dated 2 1979 (71487 on rear). Both totally unrestored. (Sold on behalf of Railway Children Charity)

3 Single Line alloy Key Token GLANDYFI - YNYSLAS. Ex Cambrian Railways section between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.

Worksplate engraved brass 62009 dated 1948. Ex Peppercorn designed K1 Class 2-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive 4 Company works number 26613. Released to traffic in June 1949 and allocated to Darlington. Withdrawn from York in November 1964.

Wooden Destination Board with 13 chocolate & cream enamel indicators. The top is painted `Next Train For Broad Street` and beneath 5 are the destinations. The first is red enamel and states `Not Stopping At` followed by the following:- Brondesbury Park; Brondesbury; West End Lane; Finchley Road; H ...[more]

7 BR(E) flangeless enamel Doorplate PARCELS AND LEFT LUGGAGE double line measuring 18" x 6". Extremely good condition.

8 Locomotive Whistle measuring 3½" diameter and standing 11" tall including valve. Nice condition.

GWR C/I Cabside Numberplate 5238. Ex GWR Churchward design 2-8-0T built Swindon August 1924. A South Wales loco all its life 9 being withdrawn from Neath in January 1964. Stamped with loco class along top rim and stamped with boiler class along bottom rim. Cleaned front and back.

10 Totem BR(M) BULWELL MARKET, H/F. Ex station on the Nottingham to Mansfield route. In excellent condition.

11 LNER cast iron Doorplate GOODS OFFICE, face restored, rear original.

12 Shedplate 14A, Cricklewood until May 1973. Unrestored.

13 LT Station Target Roundel KING`S CROSS ST. PANCRAS. A single enamel piece measuring 25½" square in excellent condition.

15 GWR Single Line Key Token Hoop & Holder, a pair both stamped with company initials and both in full, usable condition. South Eastern & Chatham Railway Telephone with Morse Tapper. In two distinct sections, the top half has a central brass push button 16 beneath which has the following stamped `SE&CR - ET`. London Chatham & Dover Railway 5 compartment china Condiment Dish Dish. Company initials are in large block lettering on the side, 17 the French makers name appears on the base. Very nice condition and of considerable scarcity.

Webb & Thompson Single Line Train Staff with brass plates one end ROWFANT - THREE BRIDGES. The section was between Three 18 Bridges and East Grinstead, Rowfant closing in January 1967. Measures 23" in length and is ex signal box condition.

LNER engraved brass Worksplate No 1615 Doncaster 1925. Ex Gresley A3 Pacific 2559 THE TETRARCH, later numbered 528 then 60 19 and finally by BR 60060. LNER, GER pattern Sliding Knob Handlamp dated 1932 and stamped `TRIMLEY 9`. Fitted with a large brass re-location plate `GN&GE 21 DIGBY S&T`. Complete and tastefully restored.

GN & GER Joint C/I Bridge Diamond, Motor Cars Act 1896 & 1903, small version with all three weight plates still attached. Primed ready 22 for restoration.

23 Shedplate 55D, Royston until September 1971. Face restored

GWR black-leaf pattern Fruit Bowl standing 5" tall and 9¾" diameter. Marked with 2 `GWR Hotels` roundels, one inside and one outside. 24 The base is marked `Copeland Spode England`. A quite stunning item in virtually mint condition.

LMS Hawkseye GARTH, 48" in length. From the ex L&NWR station between Llandilo and Llandridnod Wells in mid Wales. Ex station 25 condition.

L&NWR wooden Snow Scoop clearly branded with company initials. Together with three Signalbox Flags, the wooden handles clearly 26 branded `L&NWR`.

Loco STOP Lamp Board ex Hornsey MPD, recovered in 1964/64 era. A unusual STOP sign with bracket on one end to fit loco lamp 27 bracket and a small BR-E pie-crust lamp with red bullseye lenses (no interior) the other end. Brass Locomotive Bell as removed from Andrew Barclay 1949 built 1928 0-4-0ST named PR ALLEN. The plaque affixed to the 29 mounting plinth reads "this warning bell was part of the loco P R Allen which operated at Castner Kellner works, Runcorn 1928 - 1960". Totem BR(W) KINGHAM, H/F with an interesting fitting on rear to enable post top fixing. Ex GWR station on the Oxford to Worcester 30 route, opened by the OWWR in 1855. Totally ex station condition as purchased by the vendor.

GER Handlamp with original location stamped OULTON BROAD 7. Later re-location brass plate `London & North Eastern Railway 31 LINCOLN PASS`. Complete and tastefully restored. 32 BR(M) enamel Doorplate STAFF ONLY, 18" x 3½". Excellent colour and shine, just a few minor chips.

Great Central Railway cast iron Viaduct Plates, a pair, both showing `GCR 288`, one having (27) the other (31). These were the arch 45 numbers of the Nottingham Viaduct near Weekday Cross. Both tastefully restored. Together with a small version GNR No 2 G15 pattern cast iron Bridgeplate.

L&NWR Webb & Thompson steel and brass Train Staff LLANDILO BRIDGE - GOLDEN GROVE. Measures 23" in length with large 47 brass end where the section is embossed. The section was between the first two stops out of Llandilo on the route to Carmarthen.

Worksplate Built Crewe 1962 marked `Ex D1044` on back. Western Hydraulic WESTERN DUCHESS was released to traffic in 48 November 1962 and was withdrawn just 13 years later from Laira in 1975. 49 Wood and Cast Iron lettered Signal Box Board `SALTBURN WEST`. Totem BR(S) CLAPHAM JUNCTION, F/F light green. Undeniably the busiest station in Europe, it was built originally by the L&SWR in 55 1838. Deep colour and shine with one elongated chip right edge noyt affecting face.

A pair of opaque glass Light Fittings recovered from Clapham Junction Booking Hall in the early 1970`s when flouresecent lights were 56 fitted. Shedplate 82G Templecombe on the S&D Railway. Totally ex loco with remnants of original Swindon paint. Absolutely spot-on, 87 recovered recently from a JCB bucket being used in a barn clearance.

Totem BR(W) GLOUCESTER CENTRAL, H/F. Ex GWR station in the heart of the City, once linked to the long gone Midland Railway 88 Eastgate station via a rather long footbridge. Little or no damage, good colour and shine.

LNER 9 x 5 brass Works Numberplate `London & North Eastern Railway 9673 Built Gorton 1927`. Ex 0-6-2T N7 Class originally 89 numbered 2633. Re-numbered in 1946 to 9673 and then to 69673 by BR. Allocations include Stratford, Colchester and Parkeston Quay. Withdrawn Sept 1961. Ex loco condition.

Single Line alloy Key Token SHARPNESS STH - BERKELEY RD JUNC. Ex Severn & Wye Railway Section in south Gloucestershire, 99 first part of that railway after branching from the Birmingham to Bristol Midland Main Line.

Nameplate THE EARL. Shedplate 40A Lincoln until May 1973. Face only restored. Together with an appropriate Wagon Plate `Clayton Wagons Ltd 1923 Abbey 105 Works Lincoln with cast `roaring lion` in centre. Tastefully restored.

106 LNER cast iron Doorplate SHUNTERS, face restored, rear original.

Manchester Sheffield & Lincoln Railway mahogany Chairs a pair. Re-upholstered with red vinyl. Each measures 35" tall having company 107 initials deeply carved into the backs.

North British Station Edinburgh small teapot and a LNER Hotels Milk Jug in blue & white Wedgwood style manufactured by Dudson, 108 Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. GWR C/I Signalbox Board GOODS YARD SIGNAL BOX. Ex Worcester Shrub Hill goods yard which was situated to the east of the 109 station between Wyldes Lane Box and Tunnel Junction Box. Manufactured in 1900 at Reading.

Totem BR(M) CONNAHS QUAY, F/F. Ex L&NWR station between Shotton and Flint on the North Wales coast line. Opened in 110 September 1870, it closed in 1966. Good overall condition with some minor chips here and there.

GNR double pie-crust Handlamp brass plated `Great Northern Railway LINCOLN No 45`. Complete with interior reservoir and burner. 111 Tastefully restored.

London & Birmingham Railway C/I oval Bridge Plates, qty 3 being number 82 in unrestored condition; 86 fully restored and 80 which is 112 fully restored with two ends replaced.

Signal Box Diagram WALTHAM housed in original glazed frame measuring 38" x 13½". One end shows `From Boston` the other `To 113 Grimsby`. Some foxing and damage but still very desirable. SE&CR mahogany cased Block Bell with split case held with two clasps on the top. Centre face Tapper beneath which is a black on 114 white enamel plate CRAYFORD SPUR "A" BELL. Excellent condition.

GWR brass Locomotive Whistles, a pair mounted on a wooden board for display. The smaller `shunting whistle` is stamped GWR on the 115 lower knuckle.

BR(W) enamel Platform Sign CAFETERIA & BAR, F/F 60" x 12". Good colour and shine, cream lettering has many rust spots but a 116 great rarity to restore. Ex Bristol Temple Meads station.

North Eastern Railway enamel Doorplate STATION MASTER`S OFFICE, 20" x 8", brown and cream. Chip at both ends at the top 117 corners not affecting lettering, otherwise excellent. As recovered from Scruton station between Leeming Bar and Ainderby in Wensleydale. The station closed in 1954

GWR Bristol Division Retirement Book as presented to Jonathan Hogg. A delightful volume with 8 very thick card pages having gilt 118 edging. The first page bearing an ornate scroll outlining the begging of his acceptance of a retirement cheque etc with full company title at the bottom dated October 1904 ...[more]

GCR mahogany cased Block Bell with offset Tapper. Split case with opening hook at front, the `sheep-bell` on top. Ivorine plated 186 GREASEBORO ROAD LOOP on face indicates this came from just north of Rotherham in West Yorkshire.

GWR Cabside Numberplate 4103. Ex GWR Collett designed 2-6-2T Prairie Tank built 1935. Initial allocation was 187 Tyseley followed by Leamington and Oxford. Withdrawn from Bristol Barrow Road in September 1964. Cast iron construction, pretty well ex loco condition.

Framed & glazed Signal Box Diagram `EAST HOLMES`. The box opened in 1873 and is situated in Lincoln. It is the second oldest GNR 209 box to survive, the earliest being Barnby Moor & Sutton which opened in 1872. Survives in original frame.

Signal Box Diagram EVERTON housed in original frame as used in the signal box. Measuring 39" x 16", this hand coloured diagram 216 shows `From York` one end and `To Kings Cross` the other. Locally it shows Sandy Down Main Advance Starter. Some foxing and damage but still extremely desirable.

Great Central Railway Police Truncheon. Simple design with the exception one half is ordinary hardwood, the other appears to be 217 ebony. Measuring 15" in length, it is stamped GCR it retains the original leather strap.

GWR green ½ pint Beer Bottle nicely embossed GWR Hotels Dept Bristol. Standing 9" tall, it is in excellent condition with no chips or 218 cracks whatsoever.

LB&SCR Sykes Double Line Block Instrument with Up Line Indicator attached to the mahogany top and the main dial showing Down 233 Line. Enamel plated SHOREHAM. A very nice example indeed.

A pair of Midland Railway Block Instruments, one a Pegger, the other a non-Pegger. Both have the usual enamel dials which are in 234 excellent condition, and both are stamped on the roof `MR Co` twice. The accompanying receipts from BR show that these were definitely ex Bath Green Park Signal Box.

GWR cast iron Gangers Instrument embossed on the face with company name. Together with a similar but the `G` of GWR has been 395 ground off to leave `WR`, obviously for use on the Western Region. The latter is fitted with a blank brass Annetts Key.
