Arizona Coyotes Partner with Santan Brewing Company to Brew First- Ever Yotes Pale Ale FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, November 15, 2016 THIS YOTES IS FOR YOU! ARIZONA COYOTES PARTNER WITH SANTAN BREWING COMPANY TO BREW FIRST- EVER YOTES PALE ALE GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Arizona Coyotes and SanTan Brewing Company of Chandler, Arizona announced today the debut of its first-ever beer, a new American Pale Ale called Yotes Pale Ale (YPA). The beer will be available on draft at Coyotes games this season at Gila River Arena beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 23 when the Coyotes take on the Vancouver Canucks. Yotes Pale Ale was created as a result of the popularity of IPAs around the country. The team partnered with SanTan Brewing Company to offer fans something they cannot get anywhere else. The color of the American Pale Ale is Coyotes brick red so “Yotes Pale Ale” was an obvious choice for the name. Yotes Pale Ale has an ABV of 5.4% and 40 IBU and was created by flavorful Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops. “The Coyotes and SanTan Brewing Company are very excited to launch this delicious new American Pale Ale for Coyotes fans attending games at Gila River Arena,” said Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc. “We are confident that Coyotes beer lovers will enjoy this new beverage and we hope that they will celebrate many Coyotes wins this season with a Yotes Pale Ale.” For Coyotes ticket information, please visit ArizonaCoyotes.com or call 480-563- PUCK (7825). About SanTan Brewing Company Open since 2007 under the leadership of Founder and Brewmaster, Anthony Canecchia, SanTan Brewing Company has established a strong reputation as one of Arizona’s favorite craft breweries. In addition to brewing, SanTan features a friendly neighborhood brewpub in Downtown Chandler, which has quickly become one of the top local food and beer destinations in the Phoenix metro area. In 2009, SanTan Brewing began distributing their Southwestern Style Ales throughout the state of Arizona, operating with a mission to pair craft beer with craft food that would inspire great conversation and good times. 2014 marked the beginning of taking this journey throughout the Southwest and California. Our belief is that Great Craft Beer and Great Craft Food can be the inspiration for the conversations that can change the world! 1 About the Arizona Coyotes The Arizona Coyotes are a professional hockey team that are owned by IceArizona Hockey, LLC., who secured ownership of the franchise on August 5, 2013. The Coyotes are entering their 19th season in the Valley of the Sun. The Coyotes play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). On the ice, the Coyotes are led by the league’s longest- serving Captain Shane Doan, one of the NHL’s best defensemen in Oliver Ekman-Larsson, as well as goaltender Mike Smith. Provide a world-class civic arena (the “Arena”) to attract and present music, entertainment, and sports events, potentially including NBA and NHL events, to Seattle and the region. This is a definite strength for this Proposer. By lowering the bowl, and developing a structural plan to transfer load from the four buttresses, they have created essentially a new building, with a large event floor and concourses at new levels. Figure #1 shows the current KeyArena floorplan in red overlaid on OVG’s floorplan. You can see the increased area on all 4 sides of the building. With a large entry at the south end, from the upper level, all patrons drop down into the various building levels (Figure 2). Loading begins at John St, with a tunnel on the 1st Ave N Garage lot, which allows for the needed 50’ drop before entering the new south end space. They have provided a new seating bowl and are using 34” riser treads and 20” seating in the lower bowl and 33” treads and 20” seats in the upper bowl. There are multiple upper bowl levels, with the north upper bowl beginning at the suite level, a south seating “party deck” and stacked seating above the upper bowl on the east and west sides.
