In pursuance to Home Department, Government of Sindh, Karachi Order No.SO(A)HD-V(03)2014 dated 27.01.2017, relating to the constitution of Procurement Committee for Development Works of Police Department under Rule-7 of SPPRA 2010, a meeting of Procurement Committee was scheduled under the Chairmanship of Chairman, Procurement Committee (Deputy Inspector General of Police (Finance), Karachi) on 21.04.2017 @ 3.00pm in the Committee Room of Police Department, Ground Floor, CPO, Karachi to open the Bids.

2. Meeting was started with recitation of Holy Quran.

3. The Chairman, Procurement Committee asked the Secretary of Committee to brief the participants about the agenda.

4. The Secretary of the Procurement Committee informed the participants that Bids were invited from interested Bidders publically in Sindhi, Urdu and English National News Papers through Director of Information (Advertisement), Government of Sindh, Karachi as well as hoisting on official website of SPPRA for various Development schemes vide office of the Superintending Engineer, Police Works, Karachi letter No.SE/PW/Sindh/Karachi/ 830 dated 24.03.2017.

5. Accordingly bidding documents were issued to interested Bidders from the date of publication of NIT in the Newspapers to 20.04.2017 upto 1.00pm. The deadline for submission / return of bidding documents duly sealed and complete in all respects was given on or before 21.04.2017 latest by 2.00pm for opening at 3.00pm on the same day in the Committee Room of Police Department, Ground Floor, CPO, Karachi before the Procurement Committee and representatives of interested Bidders. • Page-2

6. During the opening of the bids on 21.04.2017. The bid amount of the each contractors/bidders was readout loudly before the Procurement Committee members and the bidders or their authorize representatives present at the time of opening. The bidders were further informed that final bid amount would be announced within three days of the completion of financial / technical evaluation process. The bids were evaluated properly and calculated all the figures arithmetically. After completing evaluation process, which are found the lowest, best evaluation and workable may be recommend to the competent authority for approval. The Bid Evaluation Reports along with other relevant documents may be hoisted at SPPRA website, as well as letter of acceptance may be issued as per SPPRA Rules 2010 (amended 2013).

Meeting was ended with a vote of thanks from and to the Chair.
