OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ALL children with access to nutritious, made from scratch meals in school, while encouraging them to explore, learn, and grow healthy relationships with food that last a lifetime.
What we do:
● We partner with schools, child care centers, and community based programs to redefine school meals. Red Rabbit breakfasts, lunches and snacks are made entirely from scratch, use whole ingredients and kids actually eat them. ● Work directly with farmers, suppliers and artisans to optimize the nutritional value and freshness of all meals while promoting sustainability and growing the local economy. ● Educate kids, teachers, families and communities about wellness, nutrition and healthy eating choices so they have the tools to make healthy food decisions for themselves beyond the classroom.
Our Differentiators
● Our food is made from scratch daily in our local kitchen. We bread our own chicken which we source from a local butcher, create our own homemade sauces and dressings, and hand cut all our fruit daily in house. ● We do not serve any form of packaged or processed food in any of our meals or snacks. ● We do not serve fried or par-fried foods of any kind. ● No additives, preservatives, dyes or fillers of any kind ever go into our food. ● We never use hydrogenated oils, artificial trans fats or animal by-products in any form. ● No canned vegetables or fruit. What we do: Since 2011, the Victor Cruz Acting Studio has trained and prepared hundreds of actors for TV, Film, and Theater auditions.
