www.myredrabbit.com

East Harlem Community Alliance www.eastharlemalliance.org

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE ALL children with access to nutritious, made from scratch meals in school, while encouraging them to explore, learn, and grow healthy relationships with food that last a lifetime.

What we do:

● We partner with schools, child care centers, and community based programs to redefine school meals. Red Rabbit breakfasts, lunches and snacks are made entirely from scratch, use whole ingredients and kids actually eat them. ● Work directly with farmers, suppliers and artisans to optimize the nutritional value and freshness of all meals while promoting sustainability and growing the local economy. ● Educate kids, teachers, families and communities about wellness, nutrition and healthy eating choices so they have the tools to make healthy food decisions for themselves beyond the classroom.

Our Differentiators

● Our food is made from scratch daily in our local kitchen. We bread our own chicken which we source from a local butcher, create our own homemade sauces and dressings, and hand cut all our fruit daily in house. ● We do not serve any form of packaged or processed food in any of our meals or snacks. ● We do not serve fried or par-fried foods of any kind. ● No additives, preservatives, dyes or fillers of any kind ever go into our food. ● We never use hydrogenated oils, artificial trans fats or animal by-products in any form. ● No canned vegetables or fruit. Only fresh, whole produce. ● We use little to no added sugar and never use alternate sweeteners such as high fructose corn syrup or any artificial flavors, colors or sweeteners in our cooking. ● We have established relationships with local farms and source locally or organically whenever we can. ● All our meat and poultry is fresh. It is never frozen, never processed and never has any nitrates or nitrites. ● Our meals are prepared fresh and sent out daily. They are never frozen or re-heated.

From our Founder- Rhys Powell

“I have always been interested in good food, good nutrition and good health. When a friend asked me to search for healthy options for their school age child, I couldn't find any. That’s when I started Red Rabbit.

Today, thirteen years later, Red Rabbit is successfully bringing more than 20,000 meals a day to 150 schools across the Greater New York Area.

We believe good nutrition is essential to a child's growth, health and behavior. That’s why we work hard every day to introduce made-from-scratch meals to kids—and peace of mind to schools and parents, whether it’s breakfast, lunch or just a snack.

In addition to our meals, we offer hands-on cooking and gardening labs for kids to explore, learn and grow healthy relationships with food that will last a lifetime.”

Victor Cruz Acting Studio East Harlem Community Alliance www.victorcruzactingstudio.com www.eastharlemalliance.com

What we do: Since 2011, the Victor Cruz Acting Studio has trained and prepared hundreds of actors for TV, Film, and Theater auditions. What’s unique about the studio’s approach is that we encourage students to write their own monologues and scenes, and that’s the material that we use in class. You learn a great deal about yourself when you ask important questions like “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?”, and allow that to inspire the material that you create in class. While you’re learning technique, you’re also learning a great deal about yourself. The one thing that you will find in our classes is that it is truly a warm, supportive and encouraging environment for you to grow as an actor. We don’t try to enforce the same old technique on students. Instead, we really look at the needs of the individual, and though we prepare lessons for the students, we carve out specific ones just for YOU. As a new student, by the end of the first class, you will have a very good sense of what we teach and what you can look forward to in the future.

Services:  Acting classes (Beginner, Intermediate and Advance)  Private acting coaching  Self-taping  Demo real editing
