A few months ago, many of the found- ing members of our St. Francis of Assisi Parish Community gathered at the 5 pm Saturday Mass to reminisce and to share a blessing. Not all could be present, but those who came could not hide their joy at being together again. And those of us who were present were filled with grat- itude to them for all that we inherited from their risk-taking and their willing- ness to start something new. Thirty-five years later, we are vibrant and strong and ready to celebrate our very rich parish Photos: Parish founders gather for a group photo at a Mass in their honor (above).
