37 Mandatory Provisions

Academic Rules & Discipline • Student must be in uniform, shoes in institute campus. Every student shall carry his / her personal identity card supplied by institute & produce the same when demanded by authorities. • Every student shall be regular & punctual in attending lectures, practicals & submissions. Defaulted student may be fined or disallowed in MSBTE Examination as per RG4 rule. • Students are required to read the notices on the notice board of department & institute. Institute shall not accept responsibility for any educational / economical loss of student owing to his / her failure to read the notices in time. • Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in campus. Maintain discipline & silence in campus. • Students are prohibited from powered vehicles in the premises of institute / sister institutions. • Student should take proper care of electrical & water fittings, furniture, equipments, infrastructure etc in campus & hostel. In case of damage cost will be recovered from student. • Hosteller should lock their room properly, when they go to neighbouring rooms or out of hostel. • Smoking, chewing pans & tobacco, drinking alcohol & use of drugs are strictly prohibited in institute & hostel premises. • Anyone found indulging in ragging in any form within or outside institute & hostel premises shall be instantly expelled from the institute. • The students are bound by all rules & regulations made by institute from time to time. • Principal has reserves the right of modifying any of these rules as & when felt necessary.
