World Moot, , 2021 – International Service Team Role Description

The UK Contingent are recruiting a team of volunteers to support the delivery of the World Scout Moot in Ireland, 2021. The lST will provide day to day support when on event, from running programme to working on logistics. Every IST experience is different, and it is impos- sible to say up front what any individual’s one might look like, however it promises to be an incredible couple of weeks.

We are looking for volunteers who:

• Are reliable, committed to supporting UK and WOSM’s mission and willing to act as an ambassador for UK Scouts • Are comfortable actively engaging with a diverse range of people from around the world for at least 8 hours per day • Have an inclusive mindset • Are quick to find solutions • Are willing to work as a part of an international team

We expect our volunteers to:

• Be at the Moot in Ireland from 17th until the 31st of July 2021 (transport and additional travel options will be available) • Be able to bring their own camping equipment • Support with the set up and take down of the World Scout Moot • Be present and on time to all sessions allocated to whilst at the Moot (It is expected that there will be at least 1 day off at Moot) • Attend two briefing events, one in your region and one national meet up • Complete any training required by the event organisers
