In 2014, under Grinder’s leadership, the Aviators placed fifth in Champions Week, ap- peared in the NBC World Series, and led the league in batting average, on base percentage, slugging percentage, and RBI.

THE GRINDER FILE Before coaching at Southeastern University, Grinder was the pitching coach at Johnson University of Florida. He helped start the program and with a pitching staff of all freshman, helped lead them to 27 victories. Grinder Conference helped lead the Suns to a runner up finish at the 2012 NCCAA World Series. Year Record Record Grinder played from 2007-2008 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then transferred to Southeastern Uni- 2019 20-26 10-23 versity where he was a member of the baseball team from 2008 to 2011. He finished third in the NAIA in saves 2020 5-3 during the 2009 season with 14. Grinder earned Southeastern University’s Coaches Award in 2011. He was named to the 2008 NYCBL All-Star Team. Grinder played in the summer of 2009 and 2010 for the Harrisonburg Total 25-29 10-23 Turks in the Valley League.

Grinder graduated from Southeastern University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. He earned his Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University in 2017.
