VINS DE PROVENCE The Provence Wine Council (CIVP) brings together 547 producers (486 independent and 61 co- operative wineries) and over 100 trading companies in AOC Côtes de Provence, AOC Coteaux d’Aix-enProvence and AOC Coteaux Varois en Provence. Together, they produced the equivalent of 155 million bottles of red (7 %), white (4 %) and primarily rosé wines (89 %) in 2017. This makes the Provence wine region ’s leading producer of appellation rosé wines: 42 % of French appellation rosés are from Provence.
