Top 30 of ‘NFL 100 Greatest Characters’ Revealed at 8:00 PM ET

‘NFL 100 Roundtables’ Series Concludes with ‘The ’ and ‘The Offensive Linemen’ at 10:00 PM ET

The NFL 100 Greatest series wraps up another category Friday, October 18 at 8:00 PM ET with the top 30 characters in NFL history unveiled, followed by the conclusion of the NFL 100 Roundtables series starting at 10:00 PM ET with “The Quarterbacks,” aptly paired with “The Offensive Linemen” at 10:30 PM ET.

Last week’s episodes of NFL 100 Greatest Characters revealed numbers 100-31 in two parts, with names such as (No. 89), Jimmy Johnson (No. 62), Brian Bosworth (No. 49) and (No. 38) all making the countdown.

Among the unforgettable NFL personalities viewers can expect to make the top 30 are:

• The carefree personality of – “The first man to sack and smack ” • and , two vastly different personalities that embrace the ‘less is more’ approach at the podium • , whose game changing talent and trend-setting style launched his ‘Primetime’ persona • The man who coined the term ‘sack’

The series finale of NFL 100 Roundtables follows the conclusion of NFL 100 Greatest Characters. At 10:00 PM ET, “The Quarterbacks” edition of NFL 100 Roundtables features a gathering of legends including , , , Joe Namath, and , followed by a discussion among “The Offensive Linemen,” , Bruce Matthews, Anthony Munoz, and at 10:30 PM ET.

The NFL and the AP elected the “100 Greatest” across five categories – Plays, Games, Characters, Game Changers and Teams. The 80-person blue-ribbon panel was comprised of experts selected by the AP and NFL Media.

Friday nights are home to the slate of NFL 100 original programming on NFL Network this season. The NFL 100 Greatest Series continues Friday, October 25 at 8:00 PM ET with Parts 1 and 2 of NFL 100 Greatest Game Changers, the players whose impact on the field could never be underestimated.
