Nate Samson’s bloop single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth snapped a 5-5 tie and gave the Explorers their first lead of the game. Winnipeg jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, highlighted by a two-run homer from Hill. Sioux City answered back with a run in the bottom of the first, and tied the game with a pair in the second. -

The PawSox have won the last two games of this series to take a 2 games to 1 lead in the 4-game set.
