Day 1: You will be transported to the Chicago O’Hara Airport for our non stop flight to , B.C. On arrival we will be transported to our Hotel (Pinnacle Hotel Vancouver Harbourfront) for the next two nights. Day 2: A sightseeing tour of Vancouver’s Spectacular North Shore with breath taking views of the city, ocean and surrounding mountains. Highlights include the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Bridge stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above Capilano River, and the Grouse Mountain Skyride, 's largest aerial tramway system to the majestic nature of The Peak of Vancouver. High above towering Douglas firs, breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, sparkling Pacific Ocean, Gulf Islands, and snowy peaks unfold as you journey up the mountainside. Day 3: Gold Leaf Service Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to , in the heart of ’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops for our Overnight stay. Day 4: Our Rocky Mountaineer Train journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of . Once again you will see a spectacular array of scenery as you travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Today’s highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Canyon, of course, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Your rail journey ends this evening in the resort town of Banff. We will be transported to our hotel for the next three night(Moose Hotel & Suites) Day 5: Enjoy a full day sightseeing out of Banff and Yoho National Park. Learn about the natural forces that have shaped the appearance of the lakes and streams found in this area of the Rocky Mountains. Highlights include Moraine Lake, Glacier-fed, its brilliant blue-green color is a result of light refracting off the rock flour (fine-grained, particles of rock), in the glacier run-off which flows into the lake and is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal, The Spiral Tunnels, a CP Rail Line route with two tunnels driven in three-quarter circles into the valley walls, Emerald Lake with a BBQ lunch at the Emerald Lake Lodge, Natural Rock Bridge spanning the Kicking Horse River, Takakkaw Falls, and Lake Louise, named after queen Victoria’s fourth daughter and looks like a big turquoise cocktail. Day 6: A Full day of sightseeing along the Icefields Parkway, one of the world’s most scenic highways. The highlight today is a once in a lifetime experience. We begin with a ride onto the Athabasca Glacier in an all-terrain massive vehicle specially designed for glacier travel. On this thrilling trip, an experienced driver-guide will share a wealth of fascinating information about glaciers and their impact on our environment. The grand Finale is a stroll on the new Glacier Skywalk, featuring waterfalls, wildlife, fossils and more on an exciting 1-kilometre walkway that leads to a platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918-foot drop. Bring along your water bottle and taste the water of a glacier. Day 7: Today you will enjoy a full-day tour concluding in . Begin with a sightseeing tour of Banff. Highlights are Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Banff Gondola Ride, as we Soar 2,292 feet on an 8-minute journey to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Glide over the treetops and arrive at a jaw-dropping mountaintop experience. We continue on to Kananaskis for a Panoramic Helicopter Ride. A 12-minute spine-tingling adventure will have you soaring 2,300 metres above sea level, giving you a totally incredible view of glaciers, mountain vistas, lakes, and waterfalls. We end Spectacular Adventure on arrival in Calgary in late afternoon and a very special farewell Dinner Day 8: Wow! We fly non stop home today with so many out of this world memories.
