Hurricane Ike struck our area three years ago today. Yes, it has been that long and yet it feels like yes- terday all in the same breath. Hurricane Ike changed lives for so many people. Homes were completely destroyed and families were displaced. We want to once again take the time to applaud those who deserve recognition for what they did to ensure our county was once again a place to earn a living, but more importantly raise a family.
