South East Juniors U16 & Youth Girls Big Winners South East Juniors had a busy long weekend with 6 teams participating in Metro and Regional Champion- ships. Played right across Melbourne teams travelled to Sunshine, Diggers Rest, Footscray, locally games were played at Casey Fields and Doveton and Shepley Oval. There was a mix bag of results across the 14’s and 15’s teams while the U16’s took out the Dandenong Re- gional Carnival and the Youth Girls move through to the Vic Metro Championships Grand Final. Congratulations to all the players, volunteers and par- ents who supported the 2012 program. Director of Coaching John Webb is excited that the SEJ will be again well represented with players to be invited to the Stingrays, Power and Dragons programs. The SEJ Youth Girls will play in their sixth consecu- tive Vic Metro Grand Final which they have dominated since 2007. They take on Yarra Juniors who beat SEJ in game one by 15 points in what was touted one of the best Youth Girls matches ever played.
