Annual Review for Nikkei Japan 1000

Nikkei Inc. will make the following changes to the Nikkei Japan 1000 (Nikkei J1000) constituents and IWFs (Investable Weight Factors) after conducting the annual review. These changes will be effective from October 31th, 2019.

As a result of the annual review, 13 constituents will be deleted and 23 constituents will be added. Because no constituent has been added with extraordinary deletion for the Nikkei J1000, the number of the Nikkei J1000 constituents is 990 now. The number of the constituents will be back to 1,000 after this replacement.

The IWFs of 61 constituents will be also changed. The 49 constituent IWFs will rise and the 12 constituent IWFs will fall.

The detailed information of the annual review such as the list of issues that are replaced or change IWFs is provided in the subsequent appendixes.
