Subject: Amendment to Invitation to Bid for Materials and Appliances for Energy Efficiency Measures under SES Project of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

With reference to the ITB for Materials and Appliances for Energy Efficiency Measures under SES Project of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea dated on 28 August2017, UNDP hereby informs you the following updates:

1) the Delivery Term(CPT Border site or DAP 15 project sites in DPRK) is changed to “DAP 15 project sites in DPRK “

2) Evaluation method to be used in selecting the most responsive Bid: (☒ Non-Discretionary “Pass/Fail” Criteria on the Technical Requirements; and ☒ Lowest price offer of technically qualified/responsive Bid based on CPT Pyongyang Border Site or DAP (to all 15 project sites) is changed to “☒ Non-Discretionary “Pass/Fail” Criteria on the Technical Requirements; and ☒ Lowest price offer of technically qualified/responsive Bid based on DAP (to all 15 project sites).”

3) The contents of Section 3a, Section 3b and Section 7 are also amended. For details, please refer to below revised Section 3a, Section 3b and Section 7 in the Annex of this Amendment.

This amendment notice will also be posted on the website where UNDP has advertised the ITB.

Except the changes mentioned above, all other contents of the ITB remain unchanged.
