Shalom In today’s gospel, tells his disciples that he leaves them with peace but that his peace is different from the peace found in the world. The Hebrew word shalom (shah-LOAM) is usually translated as peace, but it means so much more: completeness and harmony in every dimension of life. Jesus wants to share this same peace with us. It’s not simply an absence of war or conflict, but a sense of personal integrity. Knowing who I am and my place in the world. Imagine if we could all experience the peace of Christ and go forth to live our days in the sure and certain hope that we can face all challenges because we have that peace that lies within.

Safety & Security You must be aware of the news of violence in churches in the US and across the globe. Whether Christians, Jews, Muslims or faiths, people at worship are a “soft target” for attack. Therefore, we are taking some small steps to provide greater security for our community. Please read Denise Traeder’s article for more details.

Graduation Season We’d like to honor and recognize our 2019 graduates from high schools, colleges, universities, trade schools and all other educational programs. Please contact the parish office and we will post a list of the Class of ‘19 in mid-June.

Memorial Day Monday, May 27 is the day to honor those who served in the US military and gave their lives for the freedom we enjoy. Mass at 9:00AM
