The European Summit of heads of state and government under the Belgian presidency will take place on the premises of the Council of the (, 175, Brussels) on [date]. As during previous summits, your Mayor and police will make every effort not to disrupt life in your neighbourhood whilst ensuring the safety of the Heads of State, citizens and property.

A security cordon will be put in place

 Where : - Rond-Point Schuman - rue Froissart, between rue Belliard and Rond-Point Schuman - rue de la Loi, between Rond-Point Schuman and the “Residence Palace” - rue Juste Lipse

 The following can enter the security cordon: Only vehicles for official delegations which have been accredited by the services of the Council of the Union European and the police will be able to enter the security cordon.

Deliveries will not be possible.

The following can access on foot the pavements within the security cordon (on the side of buildings and not the Juste Lipse building): - local residents in possession of their identity card - employees and local merchants providing they have received police authorisation through their employer - EU officials in possession of a staff badge - any person with a pass

 Passes and authorisations: Applications must be made from [date] via the form available on the www.polbru.be/eurotop website. This form is to be submitted electronically to the police who are responsible for processing the request. Subject to the necessary checks, the passes will be made available from [date] at the police station of the 5th division of the Police de Bruxelles CAPITALE Ixelles, boulevard Clovis, 10, 1000 Brussels - tel. 02/279.85.35 or 36 - fax 02/279.85.09.

 Vehicular access to the cordon: ONLY via avenue d’Auderghem. The other points of access are restricted to pedestrians or to emergency vehicles.

 Refuse collection: Anyone living within the security cordon is requested not to put out their rubbish on [date].

Certains roads will have access restricted to local residents: - rue Archimède between rue Stévin and rond-point Schuman - avenue de Cortenberg, between rue Stévin and rond-point Schuman - rue de la Loi, between avenue de la Joyeuse Entrée and rond-point Schuman - avenue d’Auderghem, between rue Belliard and rond-point Schuman - rue Breydel

Parking will be prohibited in the area on [date]: - within the security cordon - in the roads with access restricted to local residents - on chaussée d’Etterbeek, between rue Belliard and rue Van Maerlant - on rue Van Maerlant - on rue Belliard, between chaussée d’Etterbeek and avenue d’Auderghem (Brussels side). - A telephone hotline (02/279.85.35 or 36) will be open from [date] between 08h00 and 18h30 on Monday to Friday and between 08h00 and 14h00 on Saturday.
