TCU BASEBALL ON THE R ADIO

For the 13th consecutive season, TCU fans can catch all the excitement of Horned Frog baseball on KTCU 88.7 FM. The broadcasts can also be heard around the world by logging onto www.gofrogs.com. All games are broadcast live with the pregame show beginning 15 minutes before first pitch. Calling all the action for the Frogs is Chuck LaMendola. The 2009 campaign marks LaMen- dola’s 13th season behind the microphone as the voice of Horned Frog baseball. As a full time faculty member in TCU’s Radio-Television-Film department, LaMendola teaches television and film production as well as classes in the sports broadcasting area within the department. His Remote Sports Broadcasting class is responsible for the images on the video board during Horned Frog football games in Amon G. Carter Stadium. LaMendola’s play-by-play broadcast of TCU baseball has been honored twice. The broad- caster earned a National Award of Distinction in 2002 and the 2004 Communicator Award. Chuck and his wife, Kelly, have two daughters, Francesca, 16, and Juliana, 12. The LaMen- dola family resides in Burleson.
