Secondary G&T Network Meeting Working Together; Learning Together. National Media Museum 11 March 2010 - 9.00 to 11.30

Dear Colleague

I am very much looking forward to our first G&T Network Meeting of the new year.

I have built an agenda which will give us the chance to share information, good practice and practical tips.

Agenda Items Welcome and coffee: 9.00 – 9.15 Analysis of Different Forms of Differentiation: Nicola (Hanson) will feedback on a recent conference. National Media Museum: Talk and tour by the Museum staff about how they can support us in catering for the more able. Information and Updates: Government legislation and events, including Targeted Support Programme and Pupil-Parent Guarantee. ’s Supporting Success Evening: Ian Swain (IGS) will explain the rationale behind and successes of their information evening for parents. Collaborative Lead Teaching: An hour’s round table discussion or small group working parties on how we can create and develop cross-school networking and partnerships. Forthcoming Events: What’s happening for our more able? The Future of G&T: Changes to G&T in Bradford. What are we doing and what do you want? Close: 11.30

By Bus The Museum is located in the Centre of Bradford and in served by a number of bus routes. The museum is also a short walk from the Interchange and is well sign posted. For further information on Bus Routes visit the Metro Timetables Website Bradford also operates a freecitybus service every 10 minutes from 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 5:30pm on Saturdays. The freecitybus links Bradford Interchange and Bradford Foster Square rail stations, businesses, shopping areas, the National Media Museum, and . By Car The Museum is two miles from the motorway network. From the M62, take junction 26, joining the M606, which will bring you to Bradford. Then follow directions to the centre where brown heritage signs will direct you to the Museum. Further Information: BBC Traffic News, or plan your journey with Multi Map

Car parking is available at the rear of the Museum on Sharpe Street (easy access to NMM and usually many spaces) and Radwell Drive; in addition on Hall Ings close to the Interchange. Sharpe St and Radwell Dr are council owned Pay & Display car parks which offer good rates.

Future House is a 10-15 minute walk from the National Media Museum.
