3 Building Primary Care Capacity: Pakistan's Critical Need
Message from Agenda Committee
We are extremely pleased to put together this highly Innovative Collaborative Design Conference entitled “Building Primary Care Capacity: Pakistan's Critical Need”. This working conference is designed to create a dialogue between all stakeholders in Family Medicine, to give everyone a voice and gain from collective wisdom. The conference is aimed at creating practical and prioritized recommendations in the form of a 'White paper”.
The Working sessions are designed as interactive sessions with brief condensed summary talks acting as starting point for the Q&A with session panelists. All the points provided in talks and panel discussions will be noted down to be used in the Design workshops that are modeled after Stanford d.School Design Method that will prioritize the essential points of debate. It will be implemented as breakout sessions of 7-10 participants per group.
We conducted a pre-conference Delphi Method Analysis using surveys and Zoom meeting with 40 Physician leaders in Family Medicine from US, Canada, UK and Pakistan, thorough organized debate on various challenges and Opportunities. The Whie paper will be built on the model of SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) which is a solid model of development and planning of any program with various stakeholders and participants. .
