Alex Heard Golf Tournament Resume – August, 2021

Synopsis:

Alex is an experienced tournament player with a well-rounded game featuring power, ball control, and excellent touch on and around the greens. His junior golf highlights include:

• Junior Golf Scoreboard ranking of 874 (trending down 2,600 places since January, 2020) • 13th place finish of 332 players in the 2021 National High School Invitational (4th among class of 2023) • Quarterfinalist in 2021 FSGA Boys State Match Play Championship • Winning the Doral-Publix Junior Championship • Winning 3 US Kids Regionals • Winning the US Kids Florida State championships • Finishing as high as 8th in the US Kids World Championships • Winning his High School District championship as an 8th grader • Being voted High School Golf Team Captain and MVP in 8th and 9th grade • Being South Florida PGA Junior Tour Player of the Year 2 years in a row, and • Winning numerous South Florida PGA, local US Kids tournaments and Tour Championships. • • Alex carries a current USGA Handicap of +1.3.

In addition to finishing in the top 5 in the Pepsi Little People’s Tournament, he also was their youngest winner of the Spirit of Giving award for his charitable efforts. He won the SFPGA Birdie Club award in 2016, 2017, and again in 2020, singlehandedly raising a total of more than $15,000 for the SFPGA Charitable Foundation. He also helped raise money through golf donations to build two schools in Jamaica, and traveled there in 2018 and 2019 to assist with the finishing and grand opening.

Alex was a “straight A” student all through middle school, and was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. Alex finished 10th grade at Boca Raton Community High School with “straight A’s” in his 4th quarter, and a cumulative 3.8 unweighted GPA (4.5 weighted). He was inducted into the National Honor Society in 2021. He is on track for his AICE diploma.
