ORDER Sub:- Preponement of Summer Vacation and System of hearing of maters before Delhi District Courts with effect from 17.05.2021 up to 30.06.2021.

In pursuant to the order no. 6/R/RG/DHC/2021 dated 14.05.2021 of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, New Delhi, in view of alarmaing rise in the number of COVID-19 cases and its's consequent toll on the health and lives of the judicial officers and staff of the District judiciary in partial modification of earlier notifications no. 463/I-G-4/Genl.-I/DHC dated 17.10.2020, the hon'ble full Court has been pleased to prepone the Summer Vacation for the District Courts in Delhi for the year 2021 and order that the District Courts (Except the Courts of Metropolition Magistrates) in Delhi will remain closed for Summer Vacatation from Monday, 17 th May 2021 to Thursday, 3rd June 2021 (both days inclusive). In exercise of power vested in the undersigned by virtue of under Section 10 (3) of the Criminal Procedure Code 1973 as in force in Delhi. I hereby authorize the following Officers of Delhi Higher Judicial Service of Shahdara District, Karkardooma Court Complex, Delhi to hear and dispose off bail/urgent criminal applications pertaining to the Police Stations & Investigating Agencies of Shahdara District/Sessions division of Delhi, including the urgent matters under Special Acts and under Section 21-A of the Punjab Courts (Delhi Amendment) Act, 1997, to exercise all the powers as vested in the undersigned under Section 34 Punjab Court Act, 1918, to hear and dispose off urgent Civil Matters pertaining to Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, during ensuing Summer Vacation, 2021 w.e.f. 17.05.2021 to 03.06.2021 (both days inclusive) for the dates as indicated here under : S. The Officers must intimate to the office, the names and particulars of the staff detained by them for such purposes in advance. It is further ordered that the cases listed between Monday, 17th May, 2021 to Thursday, 3rd June 2021 shall be taken up from Monday, 14th June 2021 to Wednesday, 30th June 2021 on the corresponding working days and the existing system of hearing the matters shall continue upto 30.06.2021. The Office of the Court will remain open daily from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm except on Sunday and other holidays, if any.
