created by Luisa N., David S. and Mika (6D) We are going to start at the Green Park at 9 o'clock. We are going to go left down Piccadilly Road directly to . Maybe we are lucky and see the Queen. After that we are going to go down the Vauxhall Bridge Road till the Victoria St. to and visit it.This walk is going to take about 10 minutes.

After that we are going to go to St. James’s Park. From Westminster Abbey we are going to go straight to the west and turn right on Victoria Street. Then we are going to turn left on Storey’s Gate and turn left on Birdcage Walk. On the right side we are going to see St. James’s Park. This walk is going to take about 10 minutes too.

In 1532 Henry the Eighth bought the area of the park. St. James’ Lake in the middle of the park was created in 1837. Duck Island and West Island are parts of the Lake.

St. James’s Park is in the central of London, in the .

At one o’clock we are going to have our lunch in this oldest royal park. All students of our class are going to have a sandwich and a bottle of water and we are going to have this break on our picnic blankets.

Then we are going to go over the bridge of St. James’s Lake. From the bridge we are going to see Buckingham Palace again. We can also see the London Eye from the park.

Before we are going to leave the park we are going to see a part of the Royal Guard. Since 1837 the guard marches through St. James’s Park to Buckingham Palace in the morning and at noon. Then we are going to go to the Houses of Parliament. On the way to the Houses of Parliament we are going to see the Horse Guard. Then we are going to look at the Houses of Parliament.
