What's Principal's Corner inside: Dear Parents,

PRINCIPAL'S Welcome back! We are so happy to have our students back in CORNER school with us. Thank you to everyone for your support in keeping our school safe and our students healthy.

It's hard to believe we have just over six weeks of school left until MR. summer break. However, the end of the year is always a busy time BARKER'S and we still have many events planned. BULLETIN We are coming to the end of our Virtual Book Fair on April 29. If you haven't already made your purchases, please consider DATES & supporting this important event to help raise money for our school DEADLINES library.

Our second graders made their First Reconciliation this week and LEARNING will soon be making their First Communion on May 1. Please CORNER continue to pray for these students for the Holy Spirit to open their minds to the beauty and mystery of the sacrament.

Lastly, our virtual, livestream Talent Show will be held on May 13 at SCHOOL 1:30 p.m. You can watch our participating Kindergarten through ADVISORY 8th grade performers through the same link we use for school BOARD masses. NEWS Many people have asked for the 2021/2022 school calendar for vacation and planning purposes. We are making the final tweaks and it will be coming out in a few weeks. PARISH NEWS Speaking of next school year...we are looking to hire additional lunch staff. If you are interested in these paid positions, please send your resume to Mr. Barker. PARISH NEWS

MESSAGE FROM CRE DIRECTOR, LISA RAJNICEK ON SACRAMENTS

St. Peter’s bold preaching to the people of Jerusalem demonstrates the power of the Holy Spirit at work. The result? The Church grew in spite of the danger for the new Christians to gather for prayer and . The example of the Apostles and the growth of the early Church gives us hope for our current circumstances. Fr. Roman tells us, too, to pray, be strong, and trust in Jesus!

This Spring we welcome 120 children to the table of the Lord! Please pray for our candidates and families as they celebrate their first communion on April 25 and May 1. May they be nourished by the Body and Blood of Jesus to go forth in faith, living and sharing the Good News always!

Note: Confirmation dates for the Fall have not been determined by the Bishops’ Office yet. We will notify our current 8th grade candidates as soon as we know!

VBS 2021

VBS 2021 – registration will begin soon. Our VBS team is still working out details for this year's format; however, we definitely need more adult volunteers!

CYO Athletics is open to any children who are members of the St. Lawrence Parish and the surrounding supporting parishes in our community.
