Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does the tour company have a website where we can get further information? No, this is a customized tour for Online Vacation Center VIP guests only. If you need further information, please contact your Personal Vacation Manager.
2. Lunch is included with each tour along with a drink. Does that include wine and/or beer? One glass of wine OR beer is included.
3. Are gratuities included? Gratuities for meals are included. Gratuities for the guide and driver are not.
4. How long is each tour? Most tours are 9am – 5pm. The Vienna city tour finishes a bit earlier since the concert is the same evening.
5. Are the Vienna city tour and concert on the same day? Yes. However, there will be time to go back to the hotel, freshen up and change clothes before departing again for dinner and the concert.
6. What is the dress code for the dinner and concert in Vienna? Dress code for the Vienna concert is “smart casual”.
7. Will we be staying at the same hotels at each destination? Everyone on the VIP, whether they sign up for the tours or not, will be staying at the same hotel.
8. When is payment due for this tour package? Tours will be charged at final payment along with the rest of the package.
9. What does “View of…” mean? The tour includes a stop at this location and you will have an opportunity to take pictures from the outside, however the tour does not include entrance to go inside. Some locations (i.e. bridges) do not have an inside, while others (i.e. castles and palaces) would simply take too much time to include entrance to all locations in a one-day tour.
10. I am unable to walk for long periods of time. Am I able to take this tour? The amount of walking varies in each city. Most cities have become strict about allowing coaches in the downtown areas, therefore much of our tours will be by foot. In Copenhagen there will be several times where we’ll slowly walk 15-20 minutes from one point to another, plus the tour inside the castle and brewery. Prague is the most strenuous, with 3 hours in the castle in the morning and then 3 hours walking in the afternoon (we will make stops to rest every so often). In Vienna we will tour the palace, then slowly walk approximately 1.25 miles in the city. In Budapest, there will be several times where we’ll slowly walk 15-20 minutes from one point to another.
