• Canadian CRE investment posted a second consecutive record year in 2017, with $43.1B in total transaction volume. • Following a strong fourth quarter, Ottawa CRE investment closed 2017 with just over $2.0B, marking a five-year high for the city.

• Investment in office assets represented more than half (53%) of total investment volume, with multiple large-scale deals (>$100M) having closed in 2017.
