WWW.FTBOA.COM OBS June Sale Gets Underway Today By Cynthia McFarland A total of 748 horses are entered in the 2013 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age, set for June 18 and 19. Although the vast majority of horses consigned are juveniles, just over two dozen older horses are also set to go through the ring. In addition to those included in the print cat- alog, a total of 33 horses (one three-year-old and 32 two-year-olds), have been supplemented to the sale. These horses will sell following the “older horse section” at the end of the day on Wednesday. The supplemental catalog can be accessed on the OBS website at www.ob- ssales.com and pages will also be available at the sale grounds. “We did the supplemental catalog last year. These are just horses that were entered in the sale after the main catalog deadline,” says Tod Wojciechowski, OBS director of sales. “It was a request from consignors looking for options and we felt it was a good thing to do.
