In the District of THE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, ) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND STREET PARKINGPLACES) (No. 89) ORDER 2021 Notice is hereby given thatKENT COUNTY COUNCIL intend to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9tothe Act: If made the effect of the Order will be to further amend Kent County Council (Various Roads, Dover District) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Order 2005 as follows : DOVER RESIDENTS’ PARKING It is proposed to introduce residents’ parking places in sections of Harold Street, Leyburne Road, Taswell Close and Taswell Street. Residents’ Permit holders will be permitted to park without limit of time. Non-permit holders will be limited to 2hours free parking (No return within 4hours)between 8.30am and 5.30pm on Mondays to Saturdays. Harold Street, Leyburne Road, Taswell Close and Taswell Street residents may apply for amaximum of two permits per residence. DOVER PROHIBITION OF WAITING Leyburne Road, Taswell Close and Taswell Street –itisproposedthere will be double yellowlines (No waiting at anytime) in anylengths of public highway which are not marked as parking bays. Harold Street –itisproposed there will be asingle yellowline(No waiting Monday-Saturday 8.30am-5.30pm) on the north-eastern side between points 15 metres and 72 metres and bet 76 metres and 114 metres south- east of Godwyne Road. There will be double yellowlines (No waiting at anytime) in anylengths which are not marked either as single yellowlines or as parking bays.
