Several boys lacrosse teams with Gulf Breeze representation won their respective age groups at the Foley Beach Express Lax Blast this past weekend. The 10-under Gulf Breeze Dolphins won their age group on Saturday. They beat Team Louisiana 11-7 and LAL 13-5 before losing 17-10 to 30A. The Dolphins rallied from 9- 3 down with eight unanswered goals to beat 30A 11-9 in the championship match. The 12U Pensacola Ballerz rolled through the competition on their way to winning the championship. The Ballerz beat ECLL 9-0 before shutting out Birmingham Lacrosse United 15-0. They finished pool play Saturday with an 18-1 win over Team Louisiana. The Ballerz beat BLU 9-3 in the semifinals before beating ECLL 10-1 in the championship game.
