I had become disillusioned as a result of increased workloads, pressures to reduce consultation times, and a culture of overprescribing. Building upon my formal medical training and experience, homeopathy has helped me to practise with more compassion, improve my consulting skills and there’s no doubt that I’m now able to treat my patients in a holistic way. I have not made the decision to practise homeopathy instead of conventional medicine – I have added homeopathy to the range of treatments I can offer my patients.
