Project details White Rock Wind Farm is located in the New England Tablelands approximately 24km West of Glen Innes and 47 km East of . Initial development of the project was undertaken by Epuron and in 2012 the NSW Government approved construction and operation of up to 119 wind turbines. In 2014, Goldwind Australia acquired the project and has been progressing plans for construction. The project approval from the NSW Government allows for staging of construction. We plan to build 70 turbines in the first stage along with the related civil and electrical infrastructure. The turbine model installed is planned to be the Goldwind 121 which has a 90m hub height and a 150m tip height. The total capacity of Stage 1 is planned to be 175MW. Local economic benefits? INDICATIVE Timeline The project will have signification local benefits during construction, with investment in the local economy.
