Application of Laksar Drain In Situ Bio-Remediation material for 12 months using Pressure Equipment in the water on daily basis

Framework:

Laksar drain originates in Laksar which is a small village located 35 km towards southwest from district, , India. The source of Laksar drain starts from main bazaar located towards east from Laksar junction and runs through R.B.N.S sugar mill, villages and farm lands to meet JK tyre drain (located towards west from Laksar junction) at Bijopura, and on its way many minor drains from nearby villages joins Laksar drain, then drain travels towards southwest to meet Banganga near Chakeri, further flows downstream to meet Ganga at Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh.

Length of drain is approx. 16 km.

The flow estimated is 193 MLD by CPCB.

The proposed dosage is 1 liter of Nualgi per day for 4 MLD of Laksar drain, so about 45 liters of Nualgi will be dosed every day along with 15 Kg microbial augmentation.

Nualgi can be diluted about 1000 X for large lakes and dosed under pressure into the water moving all along the periphery. Specification of Water tanker:

A long water type pipe of 200 metres attached to the dosing pump.2000 liter Capacity and 15-20 meter sparaying. Ideally, dosing of Nualgi should be done under pressure.

About 30 labour will be employed for the dosing and also to clear weeds and plastic and other non-biodegradable waste.

7 dosing points have been identified based on discharge of effluents.

1. Laksar market- Dosing will be towards sugar mill through tractor with water tanker. At laksar Market,Drain is highly polluted so we have to dosed high amount of Nualgi. We will dose 8 litre Nualgi with 4 kg Microbial augmentation.4 labour will work at laksar bazar. 2 workers will do dosing. One is remove solid waste and another one is collecting the waste.

2. Backside of sugar mill- Manual sprayers will be used as drain is in between the farmland. Further the drain travel 3.1 km towards kodha village where sugar mill release 3.6 MLD of effluents. So according to effluents we have to dosed 8 litre Nualgi with 3 Kg Microbial Augmentation. 6 labour will work at backside of sugar mill. 2 workers will dose by backspray machine. 2 workers will remove solid waste and 2 are collecting the waste.

3. Bridge nearby Kodha Village - Dosing will be through tractor with water tanker. Drain travel 4.8 km towards bijopura where hadwanala (JK Tyre Factory Drain) joins laksar drain. As stated by effluents, we will dose 8 litre Nualgi with 2 kg Microbial augmentation.6 labour will work at Kodha Village. 2 workers will do dosing. One is remove solid waste and one is collecting the waste.

4. Hadwanala (Coming from JK Tyre factory)- Dosing will be through tractor with water tanker. We will dose 4 litre Nualgi with 2 kg Microbial augmentation.4 labour will work at Hadwanala. 2 workers will do dosing. One is remove solid waste and one is collecting the waste.

5. Bijopura-Drain flows down from bijopura to mirzapur sadat,kanewali raising and podowali. Dosing will be through tractor with water tanker. We will dose 10 litre Nualgi with 3 kg Microbial augmentation. 6 labour will work at Bijopura. 2 workers will work on dosing. One is remove solid waste and another one is collecting the waste.

6. Idrishpur- Drain travel to khanpur drain, shahpur drain flowing towards idrispur where it finally meets banganga.Dosing will be through tractor with water tanker. We will dose 7 litre Nualgi with 2 kg Microbial augmentation.4 labour will work at idrispur. 2 workers will do dosing. One is remove solid waste and one is collecting the waste.

Water samples will be drawn from 2 locations along the length of the drain. One close to the starting point and one close to the end point.

Monitoring During lake treatment with Nualgi the following visible changes should be noted in intensity, color and density:

• Weed growth

• Water Hyacinth

• BGA

• Water polish and color

• Odor

• Fish and other marine life activity

• Bird activity surrounding the water body

• Plant growth if water used for irrigation

• Oxygen bubbles

• Sediment breaking loose and floating to the top

The nano-nutrients in the NUALGI bottle spread rapidly into the water body on its own on the surface as well as at the plankton and benthic level. The coverage is very high as the constituents are at nano scale.

Each litre of NUALGI treats about 4 to 10 million liters in static waters and 10-20 million liters of affected water in a flowing river. Such a large effect is possible because of the nano scale of the nutrients.
