HARRISON COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM

Steve & Penny Carlile Gallery | Memorial City Hall

EXHIBIT DONORS In 2006 the Harrison County Historical Museum board of directors adopted a New Museum Plan. The vision statement for the plan was to have "one of the best, small county history museums in Texas."

Phase I of the Plan was completed in 2013 with the opening of county history exhibits in the 1901 Courthouse.

The generosity of our donors featured on the next page and continuing on the following pages allowed us to complete George Perry Raines, seated, A.W. Dunn, right, the final phase of our plan -- a gallery Texas State Guard, c 1930s featuring the people of Harrison County who served our county and our country in the military.

We thank you. Steve & Penny Carlile Gallery Sponsor

"From the earliest days of our country to the most recent conflicts, men and women of our military have sacrificed so that people like us could enjoy the benefits of freedom." --Steve & Penny Carlile 12

In the beginning our project was just an idea, a vision. Then with great generosity these people of Harrison County and beyond began sending in donations and it reassured us our vision might just become a reality. We are so very thankful for each and every donation -- both large and small.
