. During the paschal season, in Church and at your corner at home, there is NO KNEELING at any time. Standing is a sign of the resurrection – ἡ ἀνάστασις – «the upstanding » in Greek.

nd . 2 Annual Greek Catholic Union and Byzantine Family Day at Idlewild Park: Saturday, May 30 from 10:30 am until park closing. The GCU is offering prepaid, discounted ticket sales. Ride-All-Day Tickets $20. Tickets for the optional Catered All-You-Can-Eat-Lunch Buffet are (ages 6+) = $13, ages 5 and under = $7. Lunch includes oven- baked chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, watermelon, chips, and soda. The deadline to purchase discounted tickets is Friday, May 15. No discounted tickets will be sold at the park.
