 The former of the NMC is the Preparatory Office of the National of History ,founded on the July 9, 1912, located at the Imperial College (Guozijian) in .  In the1918 ,The office was relocated to the Duanmen and Wumen of the .  On the October 1, 1926, The museum was renamed the National Museum of History  On the October, 1949,The museum was renamed the Beijing Museum of History.  In the March of the 1950, The Preparatory Office of the National Museum of Revolution was established. The site was originally at the Beihai Park in Beijing, but soon it moved to Wuyingdian of the Forbidden City.

 In the October, 1958,Construction of the National Museum of Chinese History and the National Museum of Chinese Revolution on the east side of the Tian’anmen Square began. In the August, 1959,The project was completed.

 In the September of 1969, The National Museum of Chinese History and the National Museum of Chinese Revolution merged. It was named the National Museum of Chinese Revolution and History. New NMC  In the Early 1983,The two returned to their own separate entities.

 In the February, 2003, The merging of the two museums took place and the National Museum of was established.

 From March, 2007 to December, 2010: The National Museum of China inplemented its renovation and enlargement project.

 In the March, 2011,The National Museum of China new building re- opened to the public. Function Rooms

 The new Museum after enlargement is nearly tripled in size from 65,000 to 191,900 square meters, consisting of 48 exhibition halls.  Sitting along the east-west axis are the West Hall and the Central Hall for major cultural and national events embraced by four VIP halls named Wood, Brick, and Stone .This will be an important public place for high-grade cultural activities.  The Museum is also highlighted by a theater with 800 seats, a lecture hall of 300 seats, the 20,000 square meters’ roof plantation and the world’s first TV studio covering an area of 600 square meters in a museum.  I works in the academic research center of the NMC. when the National Museum of China was established in the February of 2003, the academic research center have two journals, one was the modern China and Culture Relics, the other was Ancient Chinese Relics.  In the new situation, The work of academic research center gets more closer to the professional work of the NMC. The journal of the NMC has published some topics concerning the exibitions . With exhibition of 20th century Chinese Fine Arts, Our journal published 6 studies of 20th century Chinese Fine Arts .As the partner of the exhibition of art of the enlightment, the journal organized 5 papers of the Sino-German experts . My daily job is two:

 One is the editing the Journal of NMC and books. On the Journal of NMC, I am in charge of the column of the modern history and culture relics, museology and preservation. As the editor, I need to collect, review and revise the paper. Attending academic conference is one way to keep up with the development of some majors and get acquainted with the experts and scholars. Book Editor

 While editing the Journal of NMC,I also edited some book about Chinese history and culture. The book includes:  From the Sick Man of East Asia to the strong country of physical culture  Westerners in China  Reforming and Opening to the Outside World  The History of Chinese Research on the History

 The other work is doing the studies on the history and culture relics. In the history, My research field is the history of the Sino-Foreign relations.  Main papers written by myself are:  British Attitude towords the question of the Chinese Manchuria railways from 1909-1910 , published in the Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing (Social Sciences Edition), 2009.  Historical Study of the Chennault Plan, published in the Journal of Capital Normal University (Social Sciences Edition) , 2008.  A Study on Physical Culture of Shanghai’s western Nationals in the Late Qing Dynasty from “The Dian-shizhai Pictorial ”, published in the Journal of Nanjing Institute of Physical Education(Social Sciences Edition), 2009.  As for the cultural relics, I have studied on the modern paper coins for almost two years. I have watched the coins of CCP’s Anti-Japanese Base on the live and collected the historical data about this topic.
